Overview

WorkTree is currently in a pre-launch phase. The only personal information we collect on this site is the name and email address you voluntarily submit to our product launch waitlist. This policy explains what we do with them.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we store:

• Your first name and last name
• The email address you provide
• The date and time you submitted them

We do not collect your IP address, location, payment information, or any other personal data through the waitlist form.

Visitor counts

So we know which channels people find us through, we keep a simple daily tally of visits per traffic source — for example "instagram", a link tag we share with a partner, or "direct". Each visit adds one to a number.

We do not store IP addresses, device or browser fingerprints, locations, advertising identifiers, or any record of an individual visit, and we do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics services. The totals are anonymous and cannot be linked back to you or to a waitlist entry. Your browser stores a single temporary flag for the duration of your visit so one visit is not counted twice; it is erased when you close the tab.

Why we collect it

Your name and email are collected for one purpose: to send you updates and reminders about our product launch, and to notify you when the WorkTree platform is live — including your invite, the virtual room link, and joining instructions. That's it.

We do not use your name or email for marketing newsletters, product promotions, surveys, analytics profiling, or any unrelated communications.

How we store it

Your name and email are stored in a secure managed database. Access is restricted to the WorkTree team. We never sell, rent, trade, or share your information with third parties or advertisers.

Your rights

You can ask us to remove your name and email from the waitlist at any time, for any reason, with no questions asked. We will delete your record promptly. Once WorkTree launches and you receive your invite email, you may also unsubscribe directly from that email.

Retention

We keep your name and email only until launch reminders and invitations have been sent and you have either signed up or declined. After a reasonable period following launch, unused waitlist entries are deleted.

Changes

If this policy changes before launch, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes that affect how your information is used will be communicated to you directly.
